A MESSAGE FROM JERRY
To all of my loyal fans and friends who have been with me through all these years - you know that I have seldom ever missed an appearance, and many of you have been wondering why recently I've had to postpone or miss a few of the current ones, including our concert at the Kimmel Center on January 28. Since Labor Day weekend I have had some health issues related to my torn shoulders. After getting all kinds of evaluations, it turns out it is more than the shoulders, it is a nerve and muscular issue. Recently I have been getting medical attention and the most modern therapies available for this condition, which is not life threatening, but because of the treatments, my doctors have advised me to cut down on my schedule for the time being. Even though this has forced me to limit some recent engagements, including, unfortunately, our New Year's Eve gala at Bally's (full refunds will be made), my Wednesday and Thursday appearances as of this writing are being covered for me by DJ David Virgilio at the Oar House Pub in Sea Isle City and we will be resuming our dance parties at Live! Casino in Philly in the near future, and you can still hear the best of both shows on the Geator Gold Radio Network, as well as all my other weekly broadcasts. With the medical attention and additional rest I've been getting, I look forward to being back back with you shortly. Thank you for your understanding and for the loyalty and respect that you've shown me throughout the years, and thank you for the love and support you have been sending my way. THE GEATOR, FRANK & FRIENDS - Jerry's 2-hour show on WOND 1400 News Talk Radio at the shore, dedicated to Frank Sinatra and the artists of the era - has been changed back to Sundays from 9-11 am ET. We are happy that this show, one of Jerry's favorites to do, no longer conflicts with Jerry's Saturday show on WXPN from 6-7 pm or his live broadcast during the summertime from Memories in Margate.
NEW: Now, each week on Saturday, the calendar listing for Geator's Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues Express show on WXPN will display the show's theme. You can now listen to any of the last 10 XPN shows anytime, not just a continuous stream of the last 3 shows. Just go to xpn.org - click on PROGRAMS - then Geator RnR - then scroll thru the menu in the little box on the right for a listing of the available shows.
